Building a Solid Safety Defense! LHE’s Fire Drill Concludes Successfully
Fire safety is no trivial matter. Precaution is key. To further enhance employees’ awareness of fire safety and improve their ability to respond to fire emergencies, Lianhe Electronics meticulously organized a realistic and comprehensive fire drill. All employees actively participated and successfully completed all the drill tasks, effectively strengthening the “firewall” for the safety of the factory area.
At the beginning of the drill, the factory specially invited experienced firefighters to give a lecture on-site. The firefighters, based on the characteristics of the factory’s production scenarios, provided a detailed explanation about the types of fire extinguishers, the types of fires they are suitable for, and the core principles of their use.
After the theoretical explanation, the practical operation of fire extinguishers began. Under the patient guidance of the firefighters, the employees, in groups and in an orderly manner, stepped forward to personally experience the operation of the fire extinguishers. Soon, they mastered the essentials and successfully extinguished the “fire source”.
After the fire extinguisher operation practice, the drill entered the stage of teaching the use of fire hydrants. The firefighters led the employees to the fire hydrants in the factory area, disassembled and explained the components of the fire hydrant, including the fire hydrant box, water hose, water gun, valve, etc. They demonstrated in detail the correct procedures for connecting the water hose, installing the water gun, and opening the valve.
Subsequently, the employees took turns to perform the actual operation. From unfolding the water hose, precisely connecting the interface, to holding the water gun and stabilizing the water flow, every action was carried out with great dedication. The firefighters observed throughout and promptly corrected any improper operations, helping everyone quickly master the skills of using the fire hydrant.
This fire drill not only enabled all the staff of Lianhe Factory to systematically learn the usage knowledge of fire extinguishers and fire hydrants, enhancing their practical ability to deal with fires, but also further strengthened the overall awareness of fire safety and the sense of responsibility of all employees. In the future, Lianhe Factory will continue to regularly carry out fire safety training and drill activities, continuously improving the emergency response plans, and with a “always worrying about it” sense of responsibility, safeguard the safety of the factory area, create a safe and stable working environment for employees, and ensure the high-quality development of the enterprise!
